Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Life had been nice as of late. The black wolf didn't really have any complaints- he had been able to train with other wolves instead of himself, and he had never been more adept at the ways of the warrior so to speak. He had a pack at his back and he was able to see his imprint almost every day. He was safe, happy, and well-fed, but sometimes at night he would climb out of his den and lay beneath the stars, close his eyes and pretend that he was a loner again, traveling the lands with only himself to care for. But eventually his eyes would open and he would curse himself for being stupid and rejecting this good thing he had going for him. He loved life in Diveen, he really did, but wanderlust was an unpredictable beast.

Getting out of the packlands once in a while seemed to alleviate some of that wandering spirit, and there was something about the forest that comforted Orion. Perhaps it was the leafless branches stretching high up above his head, or the way that the sunlight dappled on the snow. Whatever it was, he was happy to be out here, and even happier to have his soul with him. The larger wolf glanced back towards the slight female that followed him, his yellow eyes full of pride and love as he looked at her. Spending so much time together had strengthened their bond even further, and Orion wasn't quite sure what he was feeling still, but he knew that he wanted to protect her for the rest of his life. Imprinting was strange, something he had never even heard of before arriving in Moladion. But... he'd be lying if he said that he wasn't glad it existed.

His tail gave a few flicks and he paused, his large paws crunching in the snow that covered the ground. "Well, here we are," Orion said with a chuckle, obviously Neveah had probably been here many other times in her life. "I like it here. I've seen a lot of forests, but this one is especially nice." he said, turning around to face Neveah.

"It's just nice to get out of the pack sometimes, at least for me... I'm still not quite used to it." he admitted, his yellow gaze moving from the wolf in front of him to look up at the branches raised above their heads. He tried to be honest with Neveah as much as he could, but he also didn't want to worry her... Pack life was nice, it was- just, a lot different.
