I had shown up upon the pack of wolves just as the other female did. Everyone so curious, pushing forward just to find out what has happened, so I find my way around to see for myself, placing myself next to the oh so small Attila, who's neck outstretched to take a good whiff of the bull elk which had fallen long before most of us arrived. I inspect the elk, seeing what is so obvious as to why it had fallen of course. So what exactly is the big commotion about?
The female spoke to those near the water, her words spoken so motherly, and a smirk rises upon my muzzle. "Yes, love, we can clearly see that. But that doesn't explain why it has happened so suddenly. Winter has only just arrived."
Golden rimmed pools search the bull elk, before turning to meet the gazes of the awestruck others. "If it were up to me, I wouldn't let any of you drink from the waters. And surely none of you were planning to eat this beast?" it was obvious, seeing as none had dug in hungrily like the wolves they truly are. One would be stupid to do so, unless they planned to catch the winter fever. Whatever it is this elk has collapsed from, is spreading fast downstream. Which means it need to be removed.
"Who here has the testicles to help a mate move this big guy?"
