Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Iscariot needed purpose. He needed a reason, a cause. These things mattered to him, because he did not know how to just.. linger without anything to do, any information to gather. Without reason he just drifted, and it was not a satisfactory feeling for him to have. He'd already had plenty of those days in his past because he had not felt himself ready to settle down, but now that he felt ready, he wanted to have a place for himself somewhere. He wanted to fit in and prove his worth with whatever it took. He wasn't going to stop trying until he got there. He wanted to have his two year plan of getting settled and rising up to work, but as the Winter went on, Iscariot had to wonder if he was reaching too far too soon.

He wouldn't be concerned on if other approached him or not when he did decide on a pack, for he intented to meet them all either way. And a lot of the packs had seemed willing to accept him within their ranks, but Iscariot was picky, he needed to be sure, he needed to feel respect and the buddings of loyalty to whatever alpha he chose to follow. He certainly had none of those things for Jaidah, so Asteraia had been crossed off the list already. There was nothing that could be done for that place, and Iscariot accepted that as truth. But he had no issue with learning more of it and it's members. Or of just anyone at all, really. Renai seemed like an interesting female, not too much one thing or another.

Drawn to it in some way. That made sense, he supposed that a lot of wolves went in that way, or were invited in. Both seemed normal enough to him, and he was about to nod before he heard the last part she spoke. "There's never been a place I have regarded as a home, either. I might have been born in a pack, but I was abandoned by my parents. It never felt right, being taken in by the others. I'm not good with dishonest creatures as it stands, so it felt wrong being with them. I left as soon as I could, and have been looking for a home ever since." If they were opening up a little, he might as well say it. Got it off his chest, at least. It had been weighing him down for such a long time.
