Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I do feel comfort in the fact that we are not a pack on the outskirts from the others but instead we are protected on all sides by other packs. On one side, we have Diveen and while they are not allies, they have seemed pretty peaceful so far even with their ever growing size. On the other side, we have Iromar and though it has a dark past, things have changed a lot since Aithne took over and now the pack is pretty honest with us in our dealings. I feel better knowing that we have neighbors. Aithne has been in charge of Iromar for a long time now and though Achilles is still rather new to the throne, he's held on for a season so far and still going strong. I hope to speak with Eden soon about tasks for making our allies more comfortable with us. I hope he'll give me a chance to earn his trust.

I also hope to meet more wolves and get to know more faces because I'm sure as an up and coming diplomat, I should be out there making friends so they know my name. The more wolves I earn the trust of, the better I'll look to Eden for holding peace both in the pack and outside of it. I know that I want my future to be here and though my brother isn't as active right now in the pack, I hope to stay here anyway since it is my home and where I was born and raised. I feel a connection here stronger than anything and my loyalty lies in Eden now too. As I approach, I prick my ears forward and wag my tail in invitation, my eyes bright and friendly. She turns to see me and the first thing I make out is her golden markings and beautiful eyes. She is quite the looker.

My lips quirk up into a charming smile, taking in her first words with a mixture of surprise and curiosity. What a thing to say. I see such intelligence behind her eyes. My brow lifts before I speak. "Water is such an unpredictable force of nature in all its many forms. Welcome to Glorall. I am Tristan. What is your name? Are you here to join?"
