Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

Even when he heard approaching footsteps, Akuji did not silence, but when vocals spoke to him, his laughing stopped abruptly. The echoes from his resigning sounds fade quickly, as there is nothing for his laughs to bounce off of, and all that the two brutes are left with is a complete silence and an empty land. Akuji's muds slid to the side, his lids rolling as his orbs swiveled. He had known, of course, that the brute would be maned, for his words had revealed as much. 'If duality doesn't speak to our breed then I don't know what does. Would you happen to know?' However, when Akuji's gaze fell upon Horizon, he found that the brute looked oddly familiar.

Those not familiar with the breed often got confused looking at them. In general, their black limbs and chestnut bodies could only look different in so many ways. A shift of a hairline here, a lighter shade there... But for the most part they all looked the same. But when you were raised among the breed and got to know just how individual each was, there was no mistaking one another. And this was definitely a kalak that he had met before... But he could not remember or figure out how he knew him.

Until he figured it out, Akuji would play quiet and calm. After all - this could end up being his entertainment for the day. "Duality is all of life, my friend, but it just seems to affect us more. With our kind, our sisters can be our lovers, our children can be our enemies, and our parents can be our keepers. Luckily, so far only one of those is true for me thus far. Though I will admit that I love my sister, I have never seen her in that particular light." Finally, his full cranium turned and his gaze upon the stranger, tracing his form, but still his memory failed him. "And you? How has being graced with the good fortune of being a kalak ruined your life?"

OOC - OMGOSH is it okay with you if Akuji realized who Horizon is? That he is Akuji's half brother, that he was a servant to the house? That's how they can bond (well he might flip out and try to kill you first... No promises)
