It was so easy to be himself around her, to be the wolf he had been back when he was naught but a pup with no cares in the world, just his loving parents to guide him and his beautiful sister to protect and care for. Now he still had Samia to defend but his parents were no longer around. Now he was her self proclaimed guardian but that didn't have to mean he wouldn't have fun right? He was still young after all and he wanted to have friends and play and run and pounce and all that fun stuff. Inanna was his outlet for all that. She was comfortable and safe. She was confidante and partner in crime. Now he truly could feel complete. She told him that she would be proud and that she would never give up her title. His eyes twinkled as he chuckled. "I NEVER SAID YOU'D BE WILLING TO PART WITH IT, THOUGH I CAN BE PRETTY PERSUASIVE WHEN I WANT TO BE." He gave his most charming smirk, his tail swishing teasingly. But then she was joking about the crab, saying there was a lot of him to eat and his brow raised as he tried to put on a pouting expression. "WHY, INANNA, I BELIEVE YOU WERE JUST TRYING TO CALL ME BIG BONED. YOU TAKE THAT BACK!" He play bowed then pounced toward her. "IT'S ALL MUSCLE, I SWEAR!" He yelled as he tried to tackle her. She nipped at his ears and he gasped as if shocked at her gall. She dodged the sand and he chuckled as she gave him a look. He wiggled his brows at her, daring her to do something about it before she took off into the waves. He followed in hot pursuit, eager to get her back for her comment about his weight. When he challenged her to fishing, she snapped at the water and raised her brows at him and he gave her lopsided grin. He started pouncing around and then suddenly just as he decided to pounce at her, it would seem she had the same idea. They collided and both hit the water. He laughed as they rolled around in the waves. Before he knew it, water hit him in the face and he looked down at her with a shocked expression. "DID YOU JUST...SPIT ON ME?!" He made his voice sound incredulous and hurt all at once though his eyes held only amusement. He did want to make sure she was okay since she had been spluttering and coughing earlier but she seemed to be okay now. That daring look on her face was priceless and he leaned back to take it all in, tilting his head as he raised a brow at her, his green eyes glistening. His ears pricked forward and suddenly he leaned his head down, touching his nose to hers in a single momentary kiss, his gaze meeting hers for a moment before he broke it by licking her right on her nose and then dancing back with a laugh. His eyes held a catch me if you can twinkle in them as he took off down the beach, daring her to run with him.
