He was hopeful that she wanted this just as much as he did. She was at least keeping an open mind about it though he was ever observant of her in case she ever got any doubts in her mind. He knew the every imprint is different and perhaps she felt differently about her own imprint than he did about Talien. Maybe she could feel him more and maybe that made her want more, especially with the urges of winter coming on. He was concerned about it because he knew some imprints got together during this season and, well, things happened. He was brushing his scent on Inanna every chance he got and when she would get in from being out exploring, he found himself inhaling her scent like it was the best thing ever wehn really he was also checking for other scents unknown to him, other males. He was being paranoid and maybe even a bit possessive and he knew it but something about her made him want to be this way. He wanted her more than anything and he didn't want to share, as selfish and awful as that was. He watched her carefully as she went over to the bouquet he gave her and looked through it. When the pearl came rolling out, his eyes widened and he shifted, ready to go catch it but instead she stopped it with her own paw, looked down at it. He saw her expression and he smirked, suddenly very proud of himself. It seemed she liked his gift. Ha, Rufus whats-his-name. Take that! He watched as she carefully picked up the bouquet and moved it over to a corner of the den, seemingly already very protective over it and it only made him feel better about spending all that time gathering the things for it. At least he knew he was doing pretty good on this whole date thing so far. She smirked at him and agreed that she was kidnapped. His tail gave a swish and he smirked right back, his eyes twinkling with mischief. He knew that she had been kidnapped before so he thought about it only after he'd spoken and almost regretted it, thinking it might hit a sore spot but instead she didn't seem to mind so at least he didn't screw that up. She pawed at his face and he chuckled, side stepping her paws. "You'll like it, I promise." Then she asked where he was taking her and he made a tsk tsk noise in his throat. "Now, I can't go giving that away or it would ruin the surprise, darling. Just follow me. That is...if I can make it back out without being washed into the sea." He scowled at he looked back toward the entrance to the den. Surely there had to be a better way.
