Eira decided it was time for her own adventure. Glorall was a unique enough place further inland where the den was, but she wanted to see the beaches. Sure, she loved her family and all, but there was so much more to the world to see that wasn't in their little bubble. The brown and white girl figured why not start by examining more of the pack. It was nearing the end of her very first spring, so it was the most reasonable and logical place to go.
The beaches. She could always smell the salt on the air, and it intrigued her to no end. Now, she was more than capable to making it that far without much trouble. Even her itching was not causing much trouble today. She had a few bare patches behind her ears and in her armpits from when it had been a bit rough a few days prior, but the inflammation seemed to have calmed down. She wasn't even sure what she had touched to make her feel that twitching sensation that drove her mad at time.
Eira snorted, mildly frustrated at her affliction, but it didn't stop her. The girl paused as her toes barely touched the sand. That twitch hit her suddenly again and she was quickly on her rump, scratching just underneath her right armpit. A groan of contentedness escaped her. Usually the itching made it feel better in the moment, even if it decided to burn later. Once more, she was on her paws and trotting forward, looking up and down the beach and towards the water. Out in the distance, her mismatched eyes could see the rough seas, though the waves were calmer towards the shore. How interesting nature was.
The girl padded towards the water, getting just close enough for the lapping water to touch her front toes. Eira giggled at the new feeling and promptly lowered her nose to sniff it. Yes, this was definitely the salt smell, it was just stronger here. If only she had seen this sooner. It was so... majestic to to her young mind.
