She couldn't believe that she was really here in his home with him. She would follow Aeon anywhere really but actually being in a pack land was mesmerizing for her. She'd only ever been in the free lands in the two years of her life. She was overwhelmed by all the scents of other wolves and the beach and the waves and the birds and just EVERYTHING. She didn't even know where to start. But more than that, she was overwhelmed by being so close to Aeon and all the new things she was feeling. She didn't know whether it was because they were getting older and she just wanted to possess him or whether it was something more. All she knew was that she craved his closeness.
They wrestle and she licked his nose, glad for the light in his eyes. She didn't know what she'd do if he ever acted awkward around her. Or worse, if he ever rejected her affections. She knew she was maybe a little more forward now that they were older but like him, she wanted to cherish every moment they had together. She didn't want there to be so much distance between when they saw each other again. He said he wanted to show her the beach and she grinned, her tail wagging as she brushed up against his side. "Et duc, sequor." (Lead and I will follow) She purred near his ear. She giggled when he nipped her before bounding off after him. She kept him in sight, not wanting to lose him. Then she'd really be lost herself in his pack.
She hesitated only a minute when the dirt between her toes turned to sand but she kept following him, trusting him. As he stopped on top of a dune, she stopped beside him, gasping in awe as her eyes widened. It was beautiful! She watched the waves crashing on the beach. Her ears pricked. At his question, she smiled and turned her bright gaze to him, shaking her head. "No, never." She leaned toward him again, brushing his shoulder with her own as she sighed in contentment and rested her head beneath his. "Thank you for showing it to me, Aeon." She whispered.
