Talien can feel his pain like a weight upon her heart. Though her love for him was something more akin to the love of a brother or dear friend... it still hurt no less. Their imprint bond was a strong one, despite the little time that they spent together. They didn't need to... it was built into their very souls.
She knew there was no words that could cover that pain, she knew there was nothing that would make his saddness lessen or disappear. But, like herself she can feel him relax in the embrace of her soul to his. He had been there for her when she came to him a depressed mess, lost over the realization that Dexter had choosen Tuari as his mate instead of her.... his nearness had lessened the pain... and that was all she could do here.... now. Lessen his pain... take it upon herself... allow him the security of knowing that she was here.
His tears wet the fur of her neck, the warmth a strange sensation to the usually aloof white huntress. Perhaps in another time or place she might have grimaced at the feeling and done her best to twist her head around to lick the hairs clean and back into place but not this time. They were Thor's tears and that made them ok. He breathed into her skin, his breath warming the chilled skin along her neck and sending a shiver along her spine. Pressing against him now, trying to be there for him... it did something for her own soul. His closeness, it soothed the myriad of emotions tangled within her own mind. Perhaps one day soon she would come to Glorall and spend time with Thor. Talking her feelings out with him did seem to help.... but now was not the time.
He sniffled and forced a small smile upon his black lips as he spoke. A single raven tipped ear flickers as Talien feigns an exasperated smile, "And here I was thinking you were doing it on purpose. I think you secretly like to see me get my fur wet" she says with a teasing smile, doing her best to brighten his mood.... at least just a little...
