Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

DEDICATE YOUR LIFE TO TRUTH.

Standing there with his tail flicking, the red dun looked at this horse before him. Nahawi was not sure what entirely would be coming during this conversation, but he waited and listened to the sentences that came from the stallions mouth. His dark tipped ears perked forward for a moment before he gave a faintly sad smile and rolled his shoulders. He had heard about the Lagoon and from what he had heard from the mare in the Inlet, he was not impressed.

“Why did I let the Trinkets go?” He faintly repeated, his ears tucking tight to his head. The stallion had many answers on that, but he did not know what to say entirely on it but the god's honest truth. “I let them go because they did not deserve to be captive. No one does if I am being honest.” The red stallion looked up and met this stallion's eyes. “No one, and I mean no one deserves to be a captive to anyone. I have heard faintly of the darkness that roamed here before and I hope to change it. Stallions do not have to be creatures of internal hormones.” Nahawi was not sure if he was saying the right thing, but at this point he could not care.

Lashing his tail, the red dun faintly drug a hoof over the ground. His body was angry at what he knew, not what this horse had asked him. The past was a dangerous game and he did not wish to know all about it in all honesty. He wanted to change this home and with a deep breath, he spoke the words he had thought to Parvati when he returned Zavi.

“This Lagoon has become a sick and twisted place. It deserves change and the chance to not have every other territory hating the members here. Not everyone that lives here has done horrible things.”
