Morning came and the trio sleeping beneath the willow tree rose, Psychedelic and his daughter roused by the soft, beckoning nicker of their new traveling companion (or as Talya would call her, friend). Talya blinked open her eyes, squinting against the soft peak of gold behind the willow’s branches and yawned a massive yawn without restraint. Psychedelic stretched his sleep-sore limbs, shaking and moving toward Aurora with a sleepy, small smile offered her way. He had an ulterior motive for moving near the tree’s open branches, however. Psychedelic glanced from her to the clearing around them, but was grateful to see what few early birds were lurking were none he knew. “We’re gonna see Luthien!” Talya said with a happy gasp, clearly coming to full alertness and remembering what had been discussed the night before. The little cremello and white filly pushed her way between her father and Aurora, happily reaching to bump her muzzle against Aurora’s wither, having no concept of personal space. “Are you excited, Aurora? I’m so excited!” They left Crossing Isle soon after, Psychedelic allowing Aurora to set the pace, though he scanned here and there just to make certain they weren’t going to run into any unfavorable company. As they traveled, Talya continued talking in a happy, upbeat tone until they reached the ocean. She’d already splashed in up to her fetlocks, tail flagged as she happily pranced, and she turned about to watch Psychedelic amble somewhat more slowly into the waiting water. He glanced once more toward Aurora and stepped further into the waters, going until he was swimming toward Luthien and what was hopefully to be a new start. I'm guessing in your post, Alison, they can arrive on Luthien
and she can suggest they go to the Forest, so in my next
post, Psychedelic can agree and lead them toward the Forest
at which point Chaos can come in with Persephone greeting them?
