Al,
I can see the rationale for preventing discriminatory legislation against smaller states (possibly with agrarian economies) by the constitution's stipulating that every state, no matter its size, shall have two Senators.
However, it seems to me that the one man/one vote rule is not unreasonable when electing the President of the United States.
