Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

If Aerten was the kind of wolf to lower herself to that level, she might have felt pity for poor Dib. However, her emotions just couldn't, or in this case, wouldn't allow that emotion, especially when it had already slipped between her defences once. She had absolutely no doubt that anything that could be used against her, would be, whether it be in her and Dib's little word games, or in the future, and the femme just simply couldn't afford such slips. What the Saw Tooth warrior didn't seem to understand was that Aerten's neck was always on the chopping block.

She chuffed softly at the little bird's reply. No need to ask what pack you're from.Any other time Aerten would've been only too happy to cuff the younger feya over the head, however she knew that'd only have one result; a fight that'd start a inter-pack war.

The russet assassin had nodded once at the rest of Dib's sentence. So, she did love them then. Even though her words were short and curt on the matter, Aerten could tell the younger femme cared very deeply about her pack. She couldn't help but wonder briefly if the bond could be exploited.

"You know, I'm not actually planning a full-scale attack on you or your family. I'm just curious; I've never experienced a pack like Saw Tooth."

Ok, so that had been quite sarcastic, letting Dib know exactly where she stood on the whole 'pacifist approach'. It was partly true however; if things had turned out differently, Aerten could've been one of those weak-willed doves. She shuddered delicately; it was just painful to imagine yet she couldn't help it...

So Aerten, what’s with all the questions? I thought Abendrot warriors were all Kill now, talk later. but you’re not like that are you?. These words unnerved the femme once more, made her feel self-conscious, almost like something was wrong with her. Ah well, what would the teen know anyway.

"I guess you could say that. But maybe you thought wrong. Ever considered the fact that what you've been told or have heard might've been the teeniest tiniest bit bias?"

And the femme was back to sarcasm. However, she did feel the need to set the young teen straight. Though some Abentrot warriors were most likely mindless drones, not all were. She wasn't like that, not at all. Did Dib honestly think she'd be alive, and talking to her right now if she didn't fit the packs criteria?

"It's...complicated, Dib. I only get my paws dirty when necessary, or when ordered. There are better ways than to shed needless blood."

The words were softer this time, as the femme hoped to whatever was above that she didn't sound like some brave martyr. Still, though she'd never ever ever ever admit it, the teen had grown on her a bit. Leave it to Aerten to find ignorance almost...endearing.
