Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Inanna

Inanna so easily fell into a relaxed companionable poise around him. The troubles of the world, her missions in life, everything seemed to wash away from her when he looked at her and warmed her when he winked. It was indeed the strangest feeling she had felt thus far. She knew at some point she would need to address it, think about why her skin felt like it was struck by lightening, and why her heart beat louder than thunder. Instead she focused on his teasing taunts and countered them with her own.

I will be proud of myself. It is my claim to the crab crown and I will never give it up. She smirked haughtily. The expression shifted to pure humor and she chuckled, her body unconsciously returning to the playful curve of a bow. Eat you? There is an awful lot of you to eat! To prove her point she nipped playfully at his ears before prancing away from the spray of sand he sent into the air. Not one to mind getting her snowy pelt dirty, she still glowered at him as she raced into the beating waves of the ocean. Her eyes continued to shine bright as he voiced another challenge to her. In response she merely snapped her jaws at the water, lifting her brows in a silent ‘ha’. Whether there were fish under the surface or not Thor started jumping, pounding, and splashing around in the shallows of the water. A brilliant idea stormed into her mind. The moment he came within reach and the water started to fall onto her face she launched herself at him. He would surely be the biggest fish they could find. If she caught him, she would have surely won. It appeared as though he had similar thoughts. They came together as the waves crashed around them. She shamelessly took the opportunity to struggle against him and try to dislodge him from being able to pin her down. The waves drew in and receded, causing her to take in water and splutter as she could breath again. Still struggling and wiggling under him she flailed around without trying to fight too hard, letting him have this momentary victory. As the water rushed towards them once more she held it in her jaws. The moment she could she looked up at him and squirted the salt water into his face. Pinned by his body she finally stopped her struggling and just looked up at him, a daring ‘what now’ clearly formed on her features. She was thoroughly captured, the next move was his.
