Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Inanna

Each and every day they continued to grow closer. Their puppy playfulness slowly started to sink away, or possibly grow as they did into something completely different. Now their movements, their winks, their smirks, their licks and occasional stolen touches meant something more. With every moment she was around him, Inanna flared her nose to take in all of him, willing it to pour over her like he and his energy did. If there was a way for the two of them to become one, she would find it and make it happen.

In the meantime, the white wolfess couldn’t keep the silly grin off her face. Around Thor she was as relaxed as she could ever be. He allowed her to breathe and be freely, enticing her with his own carefree nature. When he scooted the bouquet of miscellaneous things towards her she stepped forward to investigate, her silky tail wagging in curiosity. Her nose poked through this and that, knocking the pearl once more from its shell encasement. Eyes went wide for a moment and she slammed her paw down in a panicking instant to keep it from skittering away.Carefully she pulled it back close to her and sniffed at it under her paw. It shined brilliantly even in the lower light of the den. She straightened up and looked at it (now still on the ground) and was breathless for a moment. During her times of searching she had not come across and oyster with a pearl in it, only the shattered fragments of the iridescent mother of pearls, or the shining in sides of the oysters themselves. She was touched by the fact he had been able to find such a treasure, and he would give it to her. Immediately she became possessive and protective of it. She would not even hide it away in any of her ‘secret’ dens, where someone might randomly stumble across her powerful cache. No, this pearl was to stay here, where the wind and the waves would assist her in its protection. Taking the bouquet carefully in her teeth, she moved it to a special, protected corner of the den, away from her other various piles of things. This was a worn corner she often found herself sitting in, just to contemplate and consider the world. It would be there with her, forever close, because he had given it to her.

Once the gift was placed where it was clearly considered of utmost importance, she looked back at him, her smirk returning to answer his wink and his grin. Stretching, she wagged her tail at him and padded over, pawing at his face in eager excitement. Oh? Then consider me kidnapped. It was strange, making light of the events that had happened to her as a puppy, but she was safe with him. Thor could steal her all he wanted, just as Zeus had. Where are you taking me, sneak thief?
