At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

_________________________________________________________________________ Loss was something that the femme was still learning how to cope with, something that she wasn’t sure she would ever be able to truly get under control. Did anyone ever really get over grief though? Or did they just learn how to go through every day life as if they had not lost loved ones? Having others that she cared about in her life helped distract her from what had happened, but when she was alone there was nowhere for her to escape from the thoughts that haunted her. Adara had never been a mother, at least not yet, but it felt like she had lost one of her own. Having young had never really been on her radar, and she wasn’t sure if she would ever have some of her own. But she had Ailsa and Zawyne to look after, and she felt mothering instincts towards the two young rainbows. She had felt the same feelings towards the other teen she had bonded with, Fallon. But she had failed the third rainbow, in ways that could never be rectified. Fallon had been killed, and Adara had not been there to protect her. She had promised to protect the rainbow, and she hadn’t been there for her. And she wasn’t sure if she would ever recover from that. Life had found an easy pace now. All of the rainbows had made it safely to Dierne Hrof, well those that were still alive after three of them had unfortunately moved on to a different world. Besides herself Aindreas and Vladimir resided within the pack lands, and they were plenty protection to keep any vampires out of the pack, really keeping the rainbows within safe. Which was what Adara within the pack itself. For years she had been a wanderer, not sticking within one pack for long. But she couldn’t imagine leaving Zawyne or Ailsa, and they were safer if there was more Tempests around. And she was glad she had stayed within the pack when she was surprised to catch the scent of her father nearby. She hadn’t expected to see him again in Blossom again, but here he was. But it was not on happy terms sadly. Her father’s mate had been kidnapped, and he needed help to get her back. Adara had never been a fighter, would never relish in hurting or killing another, but her family she would do it. It pained her to leave the two Arcus Irae she had bonded to, but she knew it needed to happen. When the agreed time came for them to meet, silvery white paws carried the femme through the trees to their meeting place. She had never been in a real fight before, mostly sparring practices and quiet tussles here and there, but nothing serious. It would be the first real test of her skills. But Kalgalath and her mother both had the bodies of warriors, and Adara had inherited their large muscular mass which was sure to be on her side when it came down to the fight. Unnaturally blue orbs seemed to glow through the trees as she approached her father, a somber smile on her features as she approached him. She was glad to see him, but it was not for a happy moment. ”Hello, father.” Her form rubbed against his pelt in greeting, her form slightly tense at the impending battle that was to ensue. ”I wish happier reasons had brought you back here.” She wasn’t sure who else would be joining in for the battle besides her brother, Aindreas, but she could only hope that they would have the numbers they needed to take on the vampires and come away with a victory, and to get Sebring back to Kalgalath safely.
