Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Return to Lunar Children
I am just a displaced princess;(Thor/any)

It has been over a year now since last Talien saw her imprint Thor and yet still his heart beat close to her own. Grant it, the decision to deny the fates bond had been a mutual one in that there was no deep felt confessed love and need to bind herself to him, still Talien felt him close to her heart... like a brother she had never had or perhaps even something deeper.

She still did not know much about the black wolf of the ocean shore pack,
but since her return to Moladion he weighed heavily on her mind. She wondered day in and day out how he and Inanna were, if he had ever professed his love for her and if he now had a family. She felt somewhat sure that the day would come shortly after meeting his pretty little crush in the winter fields the season before her own pups were born but well fate had a funny way of working things out it seemed.

None the less, the first early morning rays of sunlight found her wandering close to the ocean pack's shore, her keen nose following the trail his scent ran heaviest down. From what she could tell he at least seemed to be in good health,
there was no scent of sickness or heavy placed pawprints common with limp or other such injury. That in an of itself was a relief... but still, she needed to see him. The bond between them sang to her in these past few weeks... and hopefully some time catching up could cure that.

She never would be able to leave Taviora, it was her home now, the place where her children were born and the rolling forest landscape was in her blood deep as if she had actually been born there. Yet gazing out upon the sandy beach with its ever constant rolling tide,
she could not deny the fascination.
No wonder her imprint chose this place
as his home. For a moment she allows her mind to wander to what creatures lived beneath the glistening ocean surface, what songs the birds here sang... and more importantly, how did those who called thick pack home manage to survive. Did they swim into the surf and dive for fish? Was it the keen eyed birds that they found ways to sneak up on? Or was it the hard-shelled crabs that she caught glimpses of as they skated over the sandy dunes and back into their sandy holes. Perhaps it was a bit of everything she pondered as she carefully seats herself just beyond the borders of the pack's territory marker. Curiosity begged her to venture forward and feel the ocean waters beneath her paws and wade into the inviting surf... but she did not know the status of her pack's relations with Glorall and would not dare do anything that might cause Zelda any undo stress.
Instead she simply seats herself and turns her head skyward to sound off a friendly tuned howl, calling for Thor and greeting the other residence with lilted melodies meant to reassure she meant no harm or ill will.
