It was cold out again; he absolutely despised it, how dare the world get cold again with this white menace once again covering the once lush green grass. He lets an irritable growl rumble in his chest. His darker ears pinned to his skull in an attempt to fend off the fierce bites of cold, his broken ear flopping against the side of his head aggravating him more. "Damned winter." He mutters just wanting to get to his temporary den within in the Susil Crags. When he hears a small commotion his curiosity suddenly gets the better of him, he makes a beeline to the noise. When he breaks the cover of the underbrush he find a sight on multiple wolves gathering around a carcass of a bull elk but for whatever reason none were feasting. The dappled boy got closer, sitting a few feet from water’s edge; this is where his strange findings occurred. The elk seemingly had no injuries, and the wolves around it besides being slightly shocked seemed completely fine as well. He was confused at this; it was almost as the elk had just keeled over and died. He continued to think upon the topic a bit more before a cold wind successfully sent shivers up his spine. muttering some profanity he got up, with a slight notice that paws were bleeding from ice shards, and started back on his was to his makeshift den.
