Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He gained his grip on the pup and dug in a deep as he could, but the seal pup was thrashing at the attack and Solitaire tried to balance up on his hindlegs to use his front claws to slice at the seal pup. The more wounded it was, the more blood it would lose. The more blood it lost, the weaker it would get. Solitaire needed to weaken it. Of course it's out of the corner of his eye that he notices the bull seal. Solitaire let go, using his hindlegs to send himself to the side. It's a hard landing and he knows he's going to bruise from it, but at least he escaped the tusk.

The seal pup, however, was less lucky. It got the brunt on the tusk instead of Solitaire, which was something he'd hoped would be the outcome of suck a risky move. One more second and Solitaire would have been gored. He keeps this in mind; he would not try that move again. However, he does see that Tristan is having a hard time keeping the bull seal occupied now. Solitaire used the moment to dive in for the seal pup with snapping teeth and claws before jumping away to snap for the bull seal's rear in hopes to divert it's attention from Tristan after his brother hit the sand.

Of course that ended up with Solitaire getting nicked in the shoulder by a tusk, and he whimpered and dashed to the side to avoid more damage, hearing the mother seal's calls. The bull seal was focused on Tristan again, so Solitaire used that time to grab at the seal pup again, trying to gouge at it's throat. Tristan was diving at the pup a moment later, and Solitaire moved to divert the bull's attention again to allow his brother a chance to have at the pup. It doesn't work great, because the bull had charged Tristan by then, so Solitaire grabbed at the bull seal's shoulder to rip at the skin and lept away again.

The pup was moving again, so Solitaire sprinted to cut it off again, snapping at it's face and nose, wanting to blind it, make the delicate nose bleed and put it in more of a disarray. It slammed it's head into Solitaire's cut shoulder, and he stumbled. He snapped at the seal to help him stay up, and once gaining his footing again, Solitaire started to shake his head to rend the flesh from the pup, then letting go to try another spot. He tried to repeat this process and fast as he could, dodging from the tusks of the angry bull seal and hoping the mother didn't get there in time to join the fray.
