Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Return to Lunar Children
tall clouds gather over there Inanna

He couldn't believe he was actually nervous about this. He'd been around Inanna most of his childhood and yet something about their interactions now left him tight in the chest and finding it hard to breathe. And yet it wasn't unpleasant. In fact, he wanted more, much more. He was almost addicted to the feeling he got every time he was around her. That's why he decided to surprise her today and make today something special. Maybe he could make her see that they belong together. He just felt it in his heart. So he'd gone through the liberty of picking a bunch of random stuff off the beach and putting it together into some sort of weird bouquet. It had open oyster shells (of course, only the ones with pearls in them) and feathers and randoms flowers he'd picked on the sand dunes. Then he'd found a vine to tie it all in together so it wouldn't just fall apart. He hoped she would like it. He wasn't very experienced in this whole courting thing but he wanted to give it his best shot. He wanted to impress Inanna.

So now he was heading toward her den and hoping he would be able to get into the secret entrance without much trouble. He'd had a few bad runs where his timing was off and the wave had smacked into him the minute he tried to slip through. Then he ending up being pushed into her den rather than stepping in gracefully, his fur soaked to the bone and shivering like a drowned rat. It had screwed up all his plans of being gallant and impressive and he couldn't have it ruining his plans today. So he timed it carefully, not wanting to rush things and luckily, this time he managed to slip through the hole right before the waves came. He shook out his coat, cursing under his breath as a pearl fell out of one of the oysters and started rolling across the den floor. Hoping she didn't see that, he chased after the little pearl managing to stop it with his paw finally and then scooped it up in his mouth, spitting it none too gracefully back into the oyster. He eyed it for a moment in a "you stay there" fashion before picking the "bouquet" back up and turned to try to find Inanna. He was sure he had followed her scent here.
