Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He was setting out on his trek to find this Blackthorne Eden spoke so highly of. If the boy was to be his apprentice, it made sense for him to come meet him and ask for training but it seemed the boy wanted to play hide and seek instead so he would have to track him down. He started from the place when he and Eden had last spoke but there was no sign of him there. The problem was that he had no idea who this Blackthorne was or what his smell was like so tracking him by scent was out of the question. He didn't know who his parents were or if he was even originally from Glorall. All he knew was that he was to find the boy and make him his apprentice. He guessed that was a good thing though, if Eden was willing to spar and race with him and then appoint him to have his own apprentice right off the back. It must mean he showed promise. Thor tried to hold his head up a little more and stand up a little straighter. he wanted to give a good first impression to this Blackthorne guy if he was going to earn his respect and the right to train him. Hopefully the boy would be willing to learn.

At least thing were going well with Inanna. He was hardly threatened by that Rufus guy much anymore. It didn't look like he was going to make his move any time soon and by the time he got up the guts, Thor would already have it in the bag. He knew she was beautiful and it was only a matter of time before someone made a move and he couldn't let that happen. She meant too much to him to let her go now. He had just gotten her back after all. His ears flicked around alertly as he looked but again, he had no idea what he was looking for. He didn't know what Blackthorne looked like or smelled like or even what he sounded like. This was going to be a puzzle. And so he started marching up to other wolves of the pack he came across.

"Hey, do you know a Blackthorne?"

"Can you point me in the right direction of Blackthorne?"

"Do you know what he looks like? Is he fat or skinny? Grey fur? White fur?"

Most seemed to look at him like he was an idiot and none seemed too keen on giving out information. He scowled in thought as he paused outside of yet another den. He had been knocking on dens and whatever else he could do to find this kid. What else did he have to do to get his attention? Finally he just threw his head up, howling the kid's name. There, that should do it. Now he just had to sit and wait.
