When he came upon her, she widened her stance in a bit of surprise. He didn’t want to see her on edge and his ears fell back a little as his tail wagged behind him. Yet when he approaches, she turns the edge off and seems happy to see him. In fact, he hears her voice call his name and then she said something in Latin! His ears perk and green eyes widen in surprise.
”My life,” he repeats in the common tongue. He, too, had been practicing. It was likely a bit easier for him in a way. Latin was a bit more closed off, but not too far to reach if one knew where to look. Common tongue was everywhere. He just listened to it as he lived in Glorall. He was surprised though at Lucia, and impressed! Did she...learn it just for him? He couldn’t help but smile at the thought.
She seemed a bit confused when he asked about the shells, but he knew not the word exactly in the common tongue quite yet. He tilted his head hoping that she did indeed understand, and she then seemed to click. Shells. They are called shells in common. He nods happily as she says that she found them. He was glad his little plan worked and didn't fail miserably...because it certainly could have.
Her next move was completely unexpected. He was not one that was showed in physical affection often. At least, nothing like this as she moved in a rather...well, visually appealing way towards him and then she proceeded to rub herself all along his side. He could only watch with wide green eyes.She then whispers in his ear which causes it to flick and also causes a chill to run down his spine. Still, he couldn’t help but smile when she mentioned that it was sweet. At least, he thought he understood what she meant.
”Ah, heh, yeah,” he says as he fumbles a bit stupidly on his words. He is certainly a bit stunned right now. First for the fact that his little plan worked, and second the way she was acting was making his head spin. He only snapped out of it after she nudged his shoulder. He felt what seemed like an explosion from her tough as she giggled and turned into a play bow. His dark features turned into a smirk as she confirmed that they were alone. He didn’t completely understand what she said, but he thinks he was able to infer what she meant. It seems he still has some practicing to do.
”Ah, we is do whatever you want,” he says, lowing his front half in a play bow for a shot moment before leaping forward and aiming to tackle her straight on. He certainly didn’t think that he needed to be particularly gentle. Not that he was rough either- but he was not going to treat her like some pathetic weak creature either. He would seek to knock her over gently and hopefully get a chance to lick her on the cheek.
