You may... Any time that you would like to speak your mind...please feel free.

The next words she speaks amaze Dögun...her wisdom. She spoke with such a clear voice, knowing exactly what she wanted to say and communicating it perfectly. He considers her wise words, listening intently; she had experience with dealing with other mares. Dögun lets these thoughts ponder, thinking over them, trying to figure out his next move. It would be easier just to let Freya do all of the pecking order, and he could just bring the mares to the Inlet...to safety. His russet eyes search for her crystal blues, he knew that speaking your mind could be difficult.

I appreciate your words...they are wise. I will consider these things you have said to me... So what do you suggest I do pretty Freya? Should I choose a lead mare? Could that lead mare be you?

Her name rolls of his tongue like silk... Feeling her nose against his shoulder sends chills raising along his spine. How could a single touch have so much impact?

Life is wonderful, now. I ran because I didn't know how to face these things I feared most... My dad. His temper, I was young and stupid. Now I look back over the few years and just wonder why? Why did I run? And I suppose because it is the easiest thing to do. I am not proud of it...But Im done running. I have found someone to keep me here...

His words came out confidently, he wanted to instill confidence in Freya...letting her know that he was here to stay...and it was becoming clear that she was the reason.

Yes...we are almost through these trees. You will love the view.

Stepping from the last few trees Dögun, halts at the edge letting her take in the wide expanse of the clearing, the majestic mountains that jutted towards the now stormy sky. Another storm brooded above the mountains... Its reflection caught in the crystal clear waters of the pond in the middle of this clearing. His russet eyes trace up the stream that fed the pond, until it disappeared into the trees. Dögun swivels his head towards Freya, watching her expression on her face. He loses himself staring at each of her features on her refined, beautiful face.
