Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I know Solitaire has been trying really hard to find his place in Glorall and I couldn't be more proud of my brother. He's already helped us take down a big seal at the pack hunt and we took a baby seal out by ourselves which was no easy task. He's been talking to Eden a lot too, trying out pack tasks and finding ways to prove his worth to the pack. I know I should probably be doing the same but I still feel awkward about being at a lot of pack encounters, mostly because I always wonder if Viora will show up and how that might make things more complicated. I wouldn't want to cause a scene in front of my alpha and Viora is bound to say something or do something. She's too impulsive not to.

I've seen him around the pack lands collecting plants and I never asked questions but I had no idea what he were doing. When I hear his call, I throw my own head to answer back, letting him know I'm on my way before I sprint toward his call. When I see him, I tilt my head in confusion. "What's the log for?" I call out curiously. I still favor the back leg I got attacked on by the big seal me and Solitaire had to fend off when we were hunting but it's starting to heal up. It still stings though and looks a little yellowish in color now. It bleeds every once in a while but I just thought that was natural. I've never been injured much in my life so it's one of the worst I've endured so far.
