Dögun speaks, and Freya purses her lips together in response. There is a moment of silence between them before she decides to respond. She speaks more hesitantly this time, unsure if it is wise to respond in such a way. "If I may make a suggestion..." she pauses briefly, allowing him time to object if he so pleases, "you could always take care of the problem now, before problems arise. I've heard most stallions like to let the mares sort it out themselves without any interference. But I find that tends to get messy and cause unnecessary conflict and hatred." she frowns slightly, blue eyes glancing over at Dögun, unsure of what his reaction to her words will be. She doesn't want to be too forward with matters like this. It's not her place to decide who does what and who gets the higher rank and other important herd matters. That was his job.

He speaks again, and she offers him a gentle smile, reaching out to touch her nose to his shoulder, hoping to comfort him in a way. "I understand." she states simply. "But sometimes it is best not to run away. If you're always running, you will never really be able to enjoy the moment. Your whole life will pass you by and someday, you'll realize it was foolish to always be escaping those things you dread most. You'll spend so much time focusing on how you can run away, that you'll miss those precious moments that make life so wonderful...." she stops suddenly, becoming embarassed at her sudden preachiness. "Sorry. I didn't mean to go on like that."

She sighs, sapphire eyes looking straight ahead, peering through the cover of trees, hoping to spot the clearing they are heading towards. All she sees is more trees; then again, perhaps she simply isn't looking hard enough. She turns back to him, eagerness painted all over her face. "Are we almost there?"
