At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

Leila could tell straight away that her rather boisterous flattery was appreciated although perhaps ever so slightly overwhelming. She returned his smile with a large grin that brightened up her face. He was modest which Leila was pretty pleased about; arrogant and self-centred wolves always got on her nerves. The dark phantom’s optics followed the brute with a curious interest as he ventured far and wide off. Her spirits crashed to the dusty barren floor; was he leaving so quickly? Was it something she said? A smile brightened Leila’s maw as she realised that he was simply shaking the beads of water that caressed his melded pelt. Like a contagious yawn Leila too shook her pelt but no water droplets leapt from her darkened cloak. The spectre grinned intensely as he once again approached – she was happy to have company again and a friend always sounded appealing. “For a moment there I thought you were leaving!” The phantom laughed and winked once at him. Like a puppy she followed his every movement and hung on to his every word – wanting to create a good first impression; she was new to Blossom Forest and friends were a good route to start.

“Well Kalgalath it is a true pleasure to meet you too,” she began but paused thoughtfully before adding: “I love your name; it kind of reminds me of knights. Bet you are one though, right?” Leila’s kissers widened in a grin and she winked once with a playful laugh. She watched curiously as his grey bodice swayed gently back and forth – she resisted in the annoying habit of tilting her head. The sudden breeze (although gentle and welcoming) brought a polite fragrance from the body of Kalagath. It was a pack fragrance; I’ll have to question him about it, she thought. She did not know of any pack lands and so the only way to know was by questions. His lyrics soon sliced her rapid thoughts and memories. She listened intently as he explained about retreating to this secluded area. She smiled and tilted her head a fraction.

“Well, I must agree with you on that; it is such a beautiful place to be – especially in summer I imagine.” She commented and went on to add: “So what pack exactly is that? Though I’m sure any pack would be lucky to have you fighting their side… I haven’t been here long and do not know of these packs.”

She shifted her weight so that she was more directly in front of Kalgalath. Leila was usually vivacious but the gentle breezes and the soothing of warm sunlight – bird melodies all made her feel relaxed. You could have said she was on a holiday! “So, when you’re out and about – what do you enjoy spending your time doing?” She asked curiously. Leila liked this male, not in a way of feelings but in the way of a starting friendship, or so she hoped but it was early days now and she was glad he just wasn’t a murderous cannibal. No, that would not be the best of wolves…

OOC: If I've spelt his name incorrectly I apoligize - I only realised my mistake now so there might still be a few wrong spellings. XD
