Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

SIX - NONE; HEART - NONE; SOUL - OF NOWHERE

Winter had finally come to Molodian in a fury of cold wind that seemed to spike beneath his thick, long fur and pimple his chilled skin beneath. Among the few things that Shivershade hated the cold was top among them. It always made him gripe when his long fur did nothing to protect him from the complete chill of winter. Hell, he should be overheated, and in Fall he had been when the days had dramatically swung from cold to hot to cold. It was a pain in the ass. What was the point? So often in the winter Shivershade could be found hibernating away in his makeshift den, curled in on his large figure and warming the confines of his den with twigs, mosses, and whatever else he could scrape up. Too bad he couldn't skin a whole animal himself because he would likely do it.

As it is Shivershade has grown hungry and ventures out of his den in search of an easy meal. The chase would warm up his stiffened body yet it required a taxing amount of energy he wasn't certain he was willing to spend. It all depended on what sight he might behold.

And behold he did, for as he trails down through the fields with the gray overcast sky somber above him he catches sight of the females by the waters edge all peering at something. That, of course, piques his curiosity and his long legs lengthen in stride as he draws closer, moving past Reian to look at the elk dead in the water. No sign of injury, nothing... just dead. As much as he enjoys a free meal the hairs on the back of his neck stand to attention and his lips twitch upwards as he takes a step back. His chocolate eyes, rimmed in yellow, snap to Magena as she cautions the others. "I'd listen to her," he speaks gruffly, eying the dead beast.
