Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Riot didn't really know too much on the imprinting thing, and he wasn't fully sure he even believed in it, to be honest. Perhaps there would come a time where he would, but he had doubts. He didn't need that kind of complication in his life anyway, so if he kept from believing in it, the better off he probably would be. He had goals and aspirations, he had to make a name for himself and get into a good but comfortable rank in a pack he felt right being in, and always work harder to ensure he was where he should be. To prove his worth. It stemmed from childhood, that need, and it had only grown within him in the years he had been gone. He wanted to matter.

And mostly, he wanted to show his parents -- who had abandoned him, who he did not even know the names or looks of -- that he had been worthwhile. That throwing him away was the wrong answer. If they were still around, if they would even care at all. Riot simply did not want to know either way. He never wanted to see them, never wanted to deal with any of that nonsense. He deserved better than that, and he would work to gain it. The idea of a mate and children would wait, because he was not going to bring those without ensuring that they would matter, that they would have a good chance and that he could be there for them and proud to have them.

It would be a long while away, he was sure, and he didn't mind waiting. At least for that. For a pack, he disliked the wait but did what he had to in order to ensure he made the right choice. He was so very unsure right now. Still, the female he had nearly gotten close enough to bump into seemed friendly enough, and he had to smile at her words. "It's been a strange few weeks and a lot to think on." He said with a little grin and a shrug of his shoulders. When she gave her name, he dipped his head to her. "I'm Iscariot. Nice to meet you, Renai." He responded evenly, then he paused, noting the scent of the one pack on her. "How do you like Asteraia? I visited a little, but the alpha's a bit confusing." It was a start of a conversation, at least.
